Head shots for accountants- Henderson Loggie project

New photographs for Henderson Loggie was the biggest project I worked on in terms of the time and team size. Marketing team was incredible at knowing exactly what the company image needed, and instead of investing in another set of generic headshots with paper backdrop and artificial lighting, we tested EVERYTHING that could be tested.

We did tests shoots in more than one location.

We tested several editing styles and did mock up team page to see what resonated with company colours and vibe the most.

We tested multiple backdrops in the chosen location, to get enough variety while keeping the set cohesive.

Most people dread having headshots taken at workplace (or anywhere), I am very aware of that! I created a page for Henderson Loggie employees where I was able to introduce myself in a video, allow everyone to familiarise with me enough to take the edge of the stress on the day. The page was full of tips on how to prepare and specific company dress code information.

We were shooting over several days, and having 10 minute slots pre booked by HL employees kept the schedule organised as well as allowed me to label folders with names - helpful for marketing team.

I delivered a minimum of 5 options per person, and every employee had a chance to pick the image of themselves they liked the best. Last day I was there we did a reshoot for few people who felt they needed another set, mostly due to wrong wardrobe choice.

We were aiming for natural and warm, modern, inviting, un stuffy, un corporate portraits of real people, who are a part of the same team.

I am a portrait and branding photographer in Fife, Scotland.
